The Cherokee County Fire Safety Team is a part of the Cherokee County Chiefs Association that is a non-profit, 501(c) (3) tax-exempt organization, designed to promote cooperation among Fire Departments and the community’s of Cherokee County. That operates completely on donations and fundraisers. The Cherokee County Chiefs Association along with the Cherokee County Fire Safety Team pledge to improve the quality of fire protection, and fire prevention, and promote fire safety and severe weather preparedness programs in Cherokee County. The Fire Safety and Severe Weather House is a part of our Fire Prevention and Severe Weather Preparedness Programs that teach fire safety and severe weather preparedness to the residents of Cherokee County and surrounding Counties. The Safety House is available to businesses, schools, churches, and other non-profit organizations.
